Analytics, AI, and Data Privacy

Fortify and Exsurgo may use collected information, including athlete-provided information, coach-provided information, assessment results, training information, and connected device data to provide:

Data collected through assessments, connected devices, coach inputs, and platform activity may be combined to generate individualized performance insights, trends, recommendations, and coaching tools designed to support athlete development and training optimization.

Our goal is to help coaches and athletes make more informed training decisions by combining assessment data, training history, recovery information, body composition information, and other relevant performance indicators.

AI-generated insights, recommendations, and analytics are intended to support coaching and training decisions and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or guarantees of performance outcomes.

Connected-device and assessment data may be processed by third-party artificial intelligence providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or equivalent providers, solely for the purpose of generating athlete insights, recommendations, reports, readiness assessments, and training guidance.

We do not sell personal information or athlete performance data to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

Where appropriate, we may aggregate, anonymize, or de-identify information for analytics, research, benchmarking, product improvement, and development of future products and services.

04 — Connected Devices and Third-Party Data Sources

Wearables and Integrations

Fortify allows users to voluntarily connect supported third-party devices, wearable platforms, assessment systems, and health and fitness services. These connections are optional and are initiated and authorized by the user.

The data available to Fortify is limited to the information made available by the connected service and the permissions granted by the user.

Fortify uses connected-device data to support athlete readiness assessment, performance monitoring, training analysis, reporting, recommendations, coaching workflows, and AI-assisted insights.

Connected-device data is stored within Fortify's secure cloud infrastructure and is retained for as long as necessary to provide platform functionality, maintain historical reporting, support athlete development workflows, comply with legal obligations, and operate the services requested by users and organizations.

Connected-device data is not sold to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

Garmin Data

Users may choose to connect Garmin accounts to Fortify.

Fortify may import Garmin data including, but not limited to:

  • —Activity and workout data
  • —Sleep and recovery information
  • —Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV)
  • —Training load and training status information
  • —Readiness and wellness metrics
  • —Physiological and performance data made available through Garmin APIs

Garmin data may be used for:

  • —AI-assisted recommendations and insights
  • —Athlete development planning

Users may choose to connect Oura accounts to Fortify.

  • —Wellness and physiological information made available through Oura APIs

Oura data may be used for:

Users may choose to connect InBody accounts to Fortify.

Fortify may import InBody data including, but not limited to:

  • —Other body composition information made available through InBody integrations

InBody data may be used for:

  • —AI-assisted recommendations and insights

InBody data is stored within Fortify's secure cloud infrastructure.

InBody data is retained for as long as necessary to provide platform functionality, maintain athlete history, support coaching workflows, comply with legal obligations, and fulfill user requests.

InBody data is not sold to third parties.

05 — How We Share Information

When We Share Your Data

We may share information:

  • —With coaches, trainers, gyms, schools, teams, or organizations authorized by the user

We do not sell personal information or athlete performance data to advertisers, data brokers, or unaffiliated third parties.

06 — Data Ownership and Control

Your Data, Your Control

Users retain ownership of the information they provide to Exsurgo and Fortify.

Users control whether supported third-party devices and services are connected to their accounts and may disconnect those services at any time.

Subject to applicable agreements with organizations, teams, schools, gyms, or coaches, users may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of personal information in accordance with applicable laws and platform capabilities.

07 — Data Requests, Export, and Deletion

Access, Export, and Deletion

Users may request access to information associated with their account, including personal information and connected-device data collected through the Platform.

Subject to applicable law, contractual obligations, security requirements, and organizational account structures, users may request:

  • —Access to personal information maintained by Fortify
  • —Correction of inaccurate information
  • —Export of available account information
  • —Deletion of personal information
  • —Disconnection of third-party integrations
  • —Closure of their account

Where permitted by law and technically feasible, Fortify will make reasonable efforts to fulfill requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Certain information may be retained following a deletion request when necessary to:

  • —Protect platform security and integrity
  • —Maintain aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified reporting and analytics

If an account is managed by a coach, gym, team, school, or other organization, certain requests may require coordination with that organization before processing.

Disconnecting a wearable device or third-party integration does not automatically delete previously imported data. Users may request deletion of previously imported data by contacting Fortify using the information provided in this Privacy Policy.

08 — Data Security

How We Protect Your Information

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
